Common Name:Rabbit’s FootFern

Scientific Name: Davallia spp.

This more delicate epiphytic (meaning that it can grow on other plants, such as trees, without harming them)evergreen fern has lacy, finer fronds born on wispy stems. With proper conditions this fern will form a fuzzy rhizome or “foot” that looks like a lucky rabbit’s foot charm, and creeps along the ground or along a branch if mounted.

Best for These Animals: Small and medium sized reptiles and amphibians, as well as some arachnids and arthropods, from tropical and temperate climate zones. Please note that the fronds can be fragile and break easily under the weight of larger animals.
