These pads are suitable for both glass and acrylic surfaces, effectively clearing algae from the tank walls. Featuring a unique micropore design, they offer superior cleaning performance compared to typical polyester pads or sponges. Designed for compatibility with Aqueon ProScraper 3.0 Short and Adjustable Aquarium Algae Scrapers, they require the separately sold Twist & Click Head attachment. They can also be used independently without a scraper. The blue polyester side is ideal for tough scrubbing, while the micropore foam side provides gentle cleaning. To attach or detach the Foam Cleaning Pad to the scraper head, secure the blue polyester side to the black Velcro on one end of the head, curve the pad over the top, and fasten the other end to the Velcro on the opposite side.
