This particular variety of bird’s nest fern will, when mature, produce exceptionally large oval-shaped leaves with a segmented pattern similar in look and feel to a crocodile’s skin.

Mature Plant Size & Root System: These easy-to-grow ferns have sturdy fronds that will keep flushing growth from the center, creating a “Bird’s Nest” appearance of foliage. They have very shallow fibrous root systems that allows for a surprising amount of anchorage with this fern.
