Common Names: Pothos Skeleton Key, Skeleton Key Pothos

Scientific Name: Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Skeleton Key’

This particular variety of pothos can sometimes develop odd, asymmetrically-shaped leaves that are narrower on one side of the midrib (the primary or middle vein of a leaf) than the other, or be much wider near the base of the leaf before suddenly and dramatically narrowing towards the tip, rather than tapering off. Thus, they can sometimes resemble the shape of house keys or skeleton keys.
