Sorry, we only have these 2 photos available because they kept jumping away! All toads will eventually be a nice green, they get a little dark when they are preparing to shed or are a little stressed. These guys will all eventually be the same colour.

Fire Belly Toads are small communal toads that enjoy spending lots of time in the water. They are well known for their bright red, orange, or yellow underbellies which they will flash to predators when feel threatened. Depending on the subspecies, they can also be either bright green or dark brown on the rest of their bodies.

Fire Bellies are very active and fun to watch! They do extremely well in vivarium set ups with slow moving water and are hardy with big appetites. There has been a massive shortage of this awesome species for the past few years and we are very lucky to finally get our hands on some Captive Bred juveniles! Their colours are just starting to come in on their bellies.
